DJ Billybool is the interstellar emissary of the Nu EDM Revolution. Born in Bangkok and raised in Stockholm, Billybool—like his alter ego Thaiboy Digital (Thanapat Thaothawong)—moves through dimensions.

Born and inspired by the heartbeat of his own daughter’s (a constant 138bpm), DJ Billybool mixes the Golden-era Eurodance and Trance of his youth, the sounds of Basshunter, Tony Igy with the freeflowing True Party Aura of Thai electronic mutation 3CHA. DJ Billybool entered our dimension with their debut EP, My Fantasy World (2020), pulling us through the portal: all poignant arpeggios mixed with whirlwind vocal melodies.

DYR (2025) followed, a longform crystallisation of the DJ Billybool vision: an entirely Swedish language album, that traces its lineage from the runes of Midsommar rituals to Stockholm GTR burnouts. DYR features longtime collaborators Bladee, jonatan leandoer96 (AKA Yung Lean), Eurohead, VARG2TM & Woesum and the introduction of a potent new force: SWEDM.
